With 13:50 left in the game and Appalachian State University clinging to a two-point lead, Adrienne Shuler yanked all five of her players off the court after a sequence of open bickering and frustration.

Appalachian went on a 25-18 run over the next 10 minutes to preserve a 72-64 win Saturday against Western Carolina University.
