Students can enter and win a free trip and stay at the Player’s
Club Resort and Hotel in Hilton Head, S.C. The drawing takes place March
17, and is hosted by the Appalachian State University Recreational Management
Association. Tickets are $5 each, and 3 tickets for $10. Tickets are
available for purchase from the RMA.
InterVarsity holds
Q&A on "Passion"
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is holding a question and answer session
following a viewing of the film “The Passion of the Christ.”
They will pose the question “Who is Jesus and why did he have
to die,” at Legends, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. The event will be sponsored
by InterVaristy Christian Fellowship, Campus Crusade for Christ, Baptist
Student Union, New Life, Wesley Foundation and Campus Christian Fellowship.
Sunday's Well to perform March 17
Sunday’s Well, a traditional Irish music group, will perform
in Rosen Concert Hall March 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $3 for adults and
$2 for children and senior citizens. The charge will benefit the 2004
Study Abroad in Irish Traditional Music.
"The Human Condition" in I.G.
Greer
“The Human Condition: An Evening of Pulitzer Prize Winning Playwrights”
will be presented by the Department of Theatre and Dance at 8 p.m. March
17-20 in I.G. Greer. Tickets are $4 and can be purchased at the door
or in advance by calling 262-3063.
