If it were not for an egregious coaching error and a lie, Ronda
White would have qualified for the nationals as a member of the
University of Kentucky track team.
Coming from Charlotte, White and her twin sister Tondra both decided
to attend Kentucky, passing over Appalachian State University and
several other schools that recruited them heavily.
During her freshman season, Ronda tore her quadriceps muscle during
a run in the indoor season.
