Just when you thought you were out, they pull you back in.

16 months after the student fee increase in connection with the athletics improvement plan, a new wrinkle has formed.

Originally, Owens Field House was to be renovated into a facility that would house all the coaches and have both male and female locker rooms.

Varsity Gym was to undergo a massive face-lift, and be turned into a year-round training facility for the athletics department.

Lakers are done like burnt toast
I love the Detroit Pistons. Enough to forget about the utterly painful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner by their “biggest” fan, Kid Rock. Enough to forgive the utterly ridiculous Detroit Department of Defense shirts.

They are beating the Lakers, and that is all that matters. Not only beating them, but making the Lakers look like they are going to cry. This is like in second grade when inexplicably the quiet kid beat the crap out of the bigger and cockier kid.

No one saw this coming; that after four games the Pistons would be up 3-1. It was supposed to be the other way around, or even over by now.
