Congratulations
to Chris Pollard, first of all.
Anytime a guy moves from a DII head coaching job to a DI gig is
certainly remarkable.
However, it is certainaly less remarkable when it's Appalachian
State University baseball.
ASU baseball has to be the black spot on ASU athletics. Almost
every other sport is competitive in the Southern Conference, or
at least shows promise at being competitive.
Under the reign of former head coach Troy Heustess, the Mountaineers
never did that.
