   “Permission to Land” is one of those albums that makes me remember why I love rock ‘n’ roll.
Take the arena rock chops of your favorite late ‘70s/early ‘80s arena rock bands, namely Styx, Boston and Foreigner, and you have the track “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.”

Women’s Vietnam experience explored on stage by Stephanie Marshall

   “A Piece of My Heart,” showing tomorrow through Sunday at Valborg Theatre, brings the stories of six women to the stage.
    “I encourage people to come watch the show, it’s a little different, it’s not realistic and it’s almost like bringing a novel to life,” Director Dr. Linda F. Welden said last Thursday.
    Shirley Lauro adapted “A Piece of My Heart,” a book by Keith Walker, into a drama after the Vietnam wall dedication on Nov. 13, 1982.
