... Tuition carte blanche threatens UNC system
|
North
Carolina may not have tollbooths on its roads, but its classrooms
soon may.
The dangerous trend of campus-based tuition hikes threatens
the affordability of higher education at Appalachian State
University and all 15 other sister institutions in the University
of North Carolina system.
Campus-based tuition increases at Appalachian State already
tally up to $350, and if the newest proposal is approved
students will pay $600 more over the next two years.

The lady shrugged her shoulders and swiped the card, and
off I went with the ice cream.
That situation got me thinking, though. If I can get away
with using his card, even though I had permission, there
must be people that use other people’s cards everyday
without permission. And there are. I used to let all sorts
of people use my card, and no one was ever questioned.
