Mountaineers exact revenge on Elon

The Appalachian State defense allowed 59 points last week against Chattanooga, including 31 unanswered in the second and third quarters.
Saturday against Elon, they earned back some respect.
Appalachian’s offense was paced by another spectacular performance by DaVon Fowlkes, but the ASU defense shut down the Elon Phoenix Saturday in an easy, uncontested 48-7 victory.
