Softball swings into action with fall tourney

The month of October: It’s that time of the year where professional baseball drama is in full-effect.
In Boone, it means time for fall softball action. The Mountaineer diamond cutters haven’t touched the field since May and although the season doesn’t get officially underway until February, this and next weekend’s Fall Tournament will help give the Mountaineers a feel for their young nucleus.
