Local group Jeb Holmes Band plays Canyons

Jeb Holmes entered the musical world after receiving a guitar for Christmas at the age of six. He began taking classical guitar lessons, gradually learning new styles including bluegrass flatpicking by age 10.

By the time he was 11, Holmes learned to play the electric guitar. Today the 16-year-old continues to make new strides as the front man of the Jeb Holmes Band.

The local band will perform tonight at 10 p.m. at Murphy’s Restaurant & Pub.

The roots of the Jeb Holmes Band began with Holmes and his father, drummer Pat Holmes.
