SGA loses experience with loss of members
With a new semester dawning, the Student Government Association is headed for two important battles: to keep tuition low and preserve the textbook rental system. At a time like this, when experienced and capability are needed the most, SGA has seen just over a third of its original cabinet resign.
As of press time, four of SGA’s cabinet members have either resigned or been asked to leave.

Inauguration prayer Bush's, not ours
When you hear a prayer said during today’s presidential inauguration, it is because lawmakers thankfully did not heed the complaints of one attendee.
Michael Newdow, a Sacramento, Calif. resident, tried to stop the saying of a Christian prayer at today’s ceremony on the grounds that he, being an atheist, would be hurt by its recitation.

Things of past: bathroom rules, etiquette
I sit in the bathroom (OK, I know that’s an odd way to begin) and hear the person next to me flush. The stall door opens and I hear the main bathroom doors open and slam closed.
What’s wrong with this picture? I didn’t hear the sink running, soap being dispensed and paper towels pulled. I realize this person didn’t wash their hands.
