Men's basketball defeats Elon, 73-62

There might not be an ‘I’ in team but there sure is depth, that is, if you are the Appalachian State men’s basketball team.

In the Mountaineer’s 73-62 victory over the Elon University Phoenix on Tuesday night, ASU didn’t have to rely on the big name, veteran players in order to dominate a basketball game.

Coming into the game against the East Tennessee State University Buccaneers, the Appalachian State women’s basketball team knew they would have to contain two very dangerous players in order to win. What the Mountaineers did not know was how easy it would be.
