Second annual 'Win a Date' a soaring success

Please do me a favor and take down the fliers because the second annual “Win a Date” is now officially over.

Before I describe how the date went, I think that I have the job to explain how this whole ordeal began.

It all started about three weeks ago when Brad Norman, an associate editor of The Appalachian, asked me if I would like to be the “Win-a-Date” guy for The Appalachian’s Valentine’s Day date contest.
