When Appalachian State University students returned from Spring Break March 14, they were greeted by yet another round of cold temperatures, snow and ice. While these students may have spent Spring Break on a warm beach somewhere, they were quickly brought back to Boone reality.

Finding your niche can bring joy
You have them. All of you. Maybe you only have one or two, and maybe you have a dozen of them. No matter the number, they might be slowly taking over your life if they haven’t already.
They seem small and unobtrusive to everyone but you. For whatever reason, you seem to be one of the few people that has them and truly appreciates them. They make you a member of an exclusive club. An elite group.

NCAA brings excitement to March
Right now, we are all in the middle of the three most exciting weeks of college basketball, aka the NCAA Tournament.
I will guess that everyone is in an office pool at work or has made bets with friends on who will win. I’ve done the online Tournament Challenge on ESPN.com with some friends and an office challenge with people here at The Appalachian.
