Track & field fares well at Charlotte Invitational

The Appalachian State men’s and women’s track & field teams are off and running in the outdoor season, which started Saturday at the Charlotte Invitational.
Building on the indoor track season championship, the Mountaineers had a number of top finishers in the outdoor meet.

The Appalachian State football team filled one of the open dates on its 2005 schedule with a match up against the University of Kansas. The Mountaineers and the Jayhawks will square off Sept. 10 at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kan.
