The 1999 High Country Photo Competition’s entry deadline is right around the corner.

The competition is sponsored by the ASU Outdoor Programs and Footsloggers, and all entries need to be turned in at the Outdoor Programs office in the Student Union no later than Monday, April 19 at 5 p.m.

Not only will the winners recieve all the cash, but the winning photos will be displayed on Sanford Mall during Earth Day festivities.The subject of the photos must be outdoor sports, travel, culture, nature, wildlife, landscape, or scenic. The pictures may be either color or black and white; matted or framed.

Anyone is allowed unlimited entries at $10 for the first entry and $5 for each additional. The pictures will be judged by “reputable people in the photography business,” said Rich Campbell, Outdoor Programs director.
