Let’s face it.

Halloween is quite possibly the most fun holiday to decorate for.

So, folks, break out the red food dye and the pumpkins and get to decorating!

Here are some fairly unknown decoration ideas that could be supplemented with the usual pumpkin cutouts and hanging skeletal frames.

Alien Specimen Jar

Step 1
Take old glass jars and fill with mostly water, a few drops of food dye and a drop or two of milk.

Step 2
Put a craft mask in the jar for an alien specimen jar.

Tattered Curtains

Step 1
Get a couple yards of cheesecloth or gauze and dye them by soaking in coffee.

Step 2
Take scissors and rip them up excessively.

Step 3
Hang them up from your windows for some spooky curtains.

Ghosts

Step 1
The night of your party, blow up white balloons and place an activated blue glow stick inside. Putting them in the freezer beforehand lets them glow longer.

Step 2
Drape a white sheer fabric, like cheesecloth or gauze over them.

Step 3
Thread fishing line through mesh, hang in a spooky place, and enjoy!

Step 4 (optional)
To make them friendlier, draw a cute face with a marker.

Try it with green balloons and green glow sticks for aliens.
