As far as trick-or-treating in college goes, let’s just say that ship has sailed.  

Fortunately, not matter how old we get; we will never grow out of treating ourselves on Halloween.  


Listed below are spooky Halloween drink recipes guaranteed to leave your guests spellbound.   


 
Nuclear Waste
1 measure blue curacao
1 measure Bailey’s Irish Cream
1 pint apple cider
Mix all ingredients and serve in a punch bowl.
The end result is a greenish-brown liquid with curdled bits floating in it and a thick layer of scummy foam on top.

Green Grog

2 (12 fluid ounce) cans frozen limeade concentrate
2 (12 fluid ounce) cans frozen lemonade concentrate
2 (2 liter) bottles lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 (750 milliliter) bottle rum
2 quarts lime sherbet
In a large pot, combine limeade, lemonade and lemon-lime soda. Stir in rum (add more to taste if desired.)
Mix in the lime sherbet.

Refreshing Orange Ice

3 cups water, divided
1 cup sugar
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
In a saucepan, bring 1 cup water and sugar to a boil, stirring frequently.
Boil for 1 minute or until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from the heat; stir in orange juice concentrate, lemon juice and remaining water. Transfer to a freezer-proof mixing bowl.
Cover and freeze until firm.
Remove from the freezer.
Beat until blended.
Beat in cream.
Cover and return to freezer.
Remove from the freezer 20 minutes before serving.

Ghoul’s Punch

6  cups unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled
3  cups cold water
1  6-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
4  blood orange or orange slices
1  recipe Frozen Hands
For punch, in a punch bowl stir together pineapple juice, water, and lemonade concentrate.
Float orange slices and Frozen Hands in punch.
Makes 8 (about 10-ounce) servings.

Vampire’s Kiss Martini

1 part vodka, chilled
1 part Champagne
1 part Chambord
Garnish with wax teeth/candy corn/blood orange slice
Pour vodka in a martini glass, top with Champagne and pour a little of the Chambord over the back of a spoon to make it float.
