Singer, songwriter and guitarist Colbie Caillat will perform at Appalachian State University in Farthing Auditorium April 15.
Tickets for her performance are available today exclusively to Appalachian students.
“We’re trying to give the students access to the close seats, and the good seats, before the tickets are open to the public,” public relations major Chad Hester said.
Hester is the chairmen of concerts for Appalachian Popular Programming Society.
Student tickets are $18 in advance and can be purchased at the Farthing Auditorium box office.
General public tickets will be available Wednesday online at apps.appstate.edu and the Farthing Auditorium box office.
Tickets for non-Appalachian students are $24.
“When we booked her, ‘Bubbly’ was the only single on the charts and now she’s huge,” Hester said.
“It’s nice to have students who are ahead of the curve [for new music].
That way we can get artists who are about to blow up at a nice low
price,” APPS president Megan Sayre said.
