Police arrested the third person involved in the Feb. 9 armed robbery at Steeplechase Apartments on Wood Circle.

Devin Dewitt Torain Agee, 21, of Chapel Hill turned himself in to authorities in Chapel Hill on Feb. 13.

Following investigation the day of the robbery, Boone Police had issued a warrant for his arrest.

Agee was charged with one count of felonious breaking and entering and one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Marcus S. Phillips and Appalachian State University sophomore Daniel K. Lee were arrested the day of the robbery. They entered the apartment masked and brandishing knives, taking approximately $75 from the apartment’s inhabitants.

Agee was taken before an Orange County magistrate and placed on $50,000 bond. His court date is scheduled for March 6 in Watauga County District Court.
