Schools out, summer's in

Every time I turn around another friend is having a semi-mental break down.

With the end of the year approaching students are packing more than just the library, suitcases are filling and more than just the seniors are checking out early.

Exams are approaching and the will to go to class is diminishing.

It’s time to pull the all night study sessions and push through the last few days of class.

The relaxed air that blew across campus the passed few weeks is quickly leaving as students prepare for exam week.   As I talk to friends and watch people in my classes stressing out, I know that I am not the only one who is awaiting the warm months and free schedule summer will bring.

I personally feel that I can by no means absorb any more information.

“Dear professor,
I am sorry I was not in class today. My brain can’t hold any more information.  I hope that you had a good lecture. I am taking a vacation I hope too be back for the exam.
With best regards,
Lindsay”

Now I wouldn’t suggest actually writing this to your professor, but the thought is nice while I’m sitting in class daydreaming.

I know this may not seem like people watching to any of my regular readers, but I have to say that at this point an epiphany is hard to come by.

I’m clocking out, checking out, saying good-bye and any other out I can think of.

So long for the summer!

And don’t forget to observe your fellow human being- you may learn something.
