With the new mixed drink law in Boone, changes within the town are inevitable. However, one thing remains constant—both beer and liquor cost money, and with students, money is not always easy to come by.
The following guide provides the prices of popular beers from four different local grocery stores: Ingles, located off of N.C. Highway 105; Food Lion, located in the Wal-Mart shopping center off of U.S. Highway 321; Harris Teeter, located on 240 Shadowline Drive; and Lowe’s Food, located at 267 New Market Centre.
Prices of liquor at the ABC Store found at 2067 Blowing Rock Rd. are also provided.
Liquor: the following prices are for a fifth of liquor, or 25.7 ounces, and do not include sale prices.
