Police evacuate courthouse after bomb scare |

The Watauga County Courthouse was evacuated at approximately 3:00 p.m. today after a bomb threat was phoned in.
Police cars blocked E. King St. leading to the courthouse while officers searched the building.
The courthouse was opened at 3:46 p.m. after officers determined there was no threat.
