An Ohio couple joined together in marriage Saturday in an out of the ordinary ceremony.

The couple, Jack Holsinger, 61, and Connie Spitznagel, 44, decided to have a Halloween themed wedding.  They dressed as vampires and the Minister dressed as Jason from the movie Friday the 13th.

The bride arrived in a coffin in a hearse that was carried by six pallbearers. Instead of the typical wedding conclusion where the groom kisses the bride, Minister Greg Kopp told the groom to bite his bride on the neck.

An unidentified Florida woman was flown to a local hospital Sunday.

The reason, she was clawed by a wild emu.  The woman was apparently trying to save the emu and bring it to animal control.

Paramedics said that they didn’t believe the animal was trying to attack the woman, but rather protect itself.
The woman was treated for a cut on the arm and released Sunday night.

A Massachusetts couple was arrested Thursday night after they assaulted a man at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.

The couple was seen yelling profanities at a man in front of them in line because he was taking too long ordering his meal.  The man asked the couple to watch their language as there were children present.

Police reported that Jared Garfagna, 31, punched the man in the head and then Garfagna’s girlfriend, Sara Mohn, 24, kicked the man.

Mohn was charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.  Garfagna is to appear in court on charges of assault and battery.
